The KIND Institute is an after school arts program for children as well as a gallery space with studios used by professional artists. The KIND Institute will be a program for young children in Point Breeze where they can have access to education in visual arts, music, and language. Our goal is to mold students into inventive adults, with the skills to perform as leaders in their community. The Kind Institute teaches students new ways to comprehend and retain knowledge by addressing all learning styles.
Our goal is that our students live humanely. Our hope is that these young people will act as stewards for human kind, animals, and the planet.
Through the arts every student will gain the knowledge, passion, and creativity needed to make the world a better place.
As artists and humanitarians we have been searching for ways in which we can bring the arts and social justice to Point Breeze, Philadelphia and the world around us.
The Kind Institute strives to allow every child the opportunity to get a well balanced and strong education the arts, language, and culture. Help children get the education they deserve!
At The KIND Institute our community can learn visual arts, performing arts, language, and nutrition through established workshops and classes.
The KIND After school Program has been developed through highly qualified artists and art educators.
The KIND Nutrition Program focuses on humane education that begins with a healthy body. We cannot help each other if we cannot help ourselves, therefore we are having weekly classes on eating a plant based diet on a budget.
Learning other languages will give our students communication skills so they can reach out to many cultures beyond their own.
The KIND Workshop is a shared space that is rented by poets, community groups and humane organizations, generating a space for meetings, seminars, and general workshops.
The KIND Gallery shows art by local and internationally known artists. Visitors can shop for art, T-shirts, jewelry and other gift items where all proceeds will be used for scholarships for our young artists scholarship.
We are extremely proud of ALL of our artists at The KIND Institute, young and old!!

KIND embodies a creative and inventive force working together as a team to promote compassion and tolerance.
Our partners have supported the Kind Institute in many ways. We are honored to have these companies and organizations by our side in the creation of The KIND Institute.
